Our Philosophy
What is learning, really? And how can you tell that it has occurred?
At The Tenth Dot, we took a look at the current state of eLearning and saw a lack of, well, learning. So we took a different approach.
Because we don’t believe much learning goes on from marching through pages and pages of bullet points. True learning comes from engagement: engagement that challenges the mind and opens it up to new concepts – concepts that can teach new skills. Concepts that can even change individual behavior and organizational culture.
Since our inception in 2008, The Tenth Dot has sought to be the smart alternative in the eLearning field, applying the best of new technology in common-sense approaches and formats that work for organizations and the people in them.
Our team
The Tenth Dot has a knack for taking complex concepts and distilling them down to make them more understandable for a specific or general audience. We bring a fresh perspective that can make a promotional message sizzle without relying on marketing buzzwords.
It can be difficult for a Subject Matter Expert to see a concept from a new learner’s perspective. We specialize in putting ourselves in that new learner’s shoes, a process that leads us to find simple but engaging ways to bring clarity.
We believe that eLearning should be as beautiful as it is functional and as original as it is beautiful – we never try to fit your unique project into a cookie-cutter template.
And, of course, no project is worth its salt if it can’t make it out the door. We value both quality and cost-efficiency in the production process and believe that neither should be sacrificed for the other. We handle all the details of the production process, using the latest project management tools to bring your job in on time and on budget – and to keep you up-to-date on every step of the process.
